How long will a box be available to purchase?

The gift boxes are available until they sell out. Sometimes, they sell out in few hours; sometimes it takes a few days. Once a box sells out, it’s gone for good, making it a truly unique and collectible gift.

When will I receive the box?

Our gift boxes typically have a 1–3-month turnaround time. However,
the HoliTay box and HoliDave box is guaranteed to arrive before December 25th.

What types of items will be in the box?

We've curated over 20 unique gift boxes, each with its own distinct theme. We take pride in offering original designs and rarely repeat items, so you can always expect something new and exciting.

While the exact number of items varies, you can typically expect 5 or 6 carefully chosen treasures in each box. We like to create a mix of larger and smaller items.

To give you an idea of what we've featured in the past, here's a glimpse at some of our previous box items:

  • Home & Comfort: Blankets, pillows, candles, pajamas, robes
  • Fashion & Accessories: Sweatshirts, t-shirts, jewelry, socks, beanies
  • Fun & Games: Playing cards, pickleball sets, kites
  • Keepsakes & Decor: Posters, calendars, ornaments, figurines, pins
  • Everyday Essentials: Backpacks, coolers, notebooks, beach towels

And that's just to name a few! Every box is a delightful surprise waiting to be unwrapped.

Why are the boxes limited edition?

We pour our hearts into creating unique and special experiences with each of our boxes. As a small, two-woman team, we design every item and carefully curate each theme. This hands-on approach means we produce a limited number of boxes to ensure the highest quality and attention to detail.

Occasionally, we collaborate with talented featured artists, which allows us to increase the quantity of boxes available. Keep an eye out for those special collaborations!

Can I purchase individual items from a box later?

We understand wanting to snag a specific item from a past box! Since we offer limited edition collections, we usually don't have many extras. But here's how you might be able to find those coveted items:
  • Keep an eye on our Facebook groups: We occasionally host sales with any remaining inventory.
  • Check the "Market" tab on our website: Sometimes we'll add extra items there, so it's worth checking periodically.
  • Join our "Buy, Sell, Trade" Facebook chat: This is a great place to connect with other customers who might be selling or trading items from previous boxes.
It's worth noting that because of the limited nature of our boxes, individual items can be hard to come by. Joining our Facebook groups is the best way to stay informed and increase your chances of finding those special pieces!

 

What is add on apparel?

Every box you order comes with ONE apparel item included in the price. If you'd like a second piece of the SAME apparel (think matching
outfits!), you can add that to your order. This is perfect for sharing with a friend, partner, or anyone else you want to twin with. The
add-on is completely optional, and you'll get one apparel item in your box regardless. The add-on is for a duplicate of the included apparel item.

Why does cornerofcorneliastreet.com redirect to cornerofgreystreet.com?

Great question! We know it might seem a little confusing, but it's actually pretty simple.
We operate two distinct surprise box lines – Corner of Grey Street and Corner of Cornelia Street – but we manage them both under one website. Think of it like two shops under one roof!
While the website is the same, the box drops for each line happen on different days, so be sure to follow the links for the specific box you're interested in. 

What are "Box Drops" and How Do They Work?

Think of our "box drops" as limited-edition launches! We create a small number of curated surprise gift boxes throughout the year—usually 10 in total, with 5 themed around "Corner of Grey Street" and 5 around "Corner of Cornelia Street."

Here's how it works:

  • Timing: We aim to release boxes seasonally—think winter holidays, spring, summer, and fall.
  • Notification: We announce upcoming box drops in our Facebook groups and via email. Want to be in the loop? Sign up for our email list at the bottom of this page!
  • Two-Tiered Release:
    • Pre-Sale: This is a special 24-hour early access period exclusively for our amazing past customers. You'll receive a password via email to access the pre-sale, giving you first dibs on the new box.
    • Public Sale: After the pre-sale, any remaining boxes become available to everyone. No password needed! This sale runs until the boxes sell out.

Because we make a limited number of each box, they tend to sell out quickly. Joining our email list and Facebook groups is the best way to stay informed and snag a box before they're gone!

Return and Exchange Policy

We understand that with surprise boxes, it's possible you may not love every single item. Because we're a small business and make a limited number of each box, we handle returns and exchanges a little differently:

  • First-Time Buyers: We offer returns for customers who are new to our community. If it's your first time ordering and you're not happy with your box, please contact us within 14 days of receiving it and we'll be happy to help.
  • Exchanges: We've created a Facebook group where you can connect with other customers to exchange, sell, or trade items from your box. It's a great way to find something you love and connect with fellow enthusiasts! 
  • Size Exchanges: Due to the limited nature of our boxes, we usually can't make size exchanges after your order is placed. We produce the exact quantity needed for each size based on orders received.
  • Damaged or Lost Boxes: If your box arrives damaged or is lost in transit, we'll absolutely replace it free of charge. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can take care of it.
